Ace choreographer Saroj Khan left for heavenly abode in the early hours of July 3, 2020. Fondly addressed as Masterji in Bollywood, she trained many biggies of the tinsel town. She was hospitalized on June 17, 2020, after she complained of breathlessness to Guru Nanak Hospital in Bandra. The news of her death was broken to the world by her daughter, Sukaina Khan. And this sad news got in condolences to the family pouring in on the social networking platform and also remembering the moments of the late choreographer.

Actor Varun Badola shared a video clip when he participated along with his wife Rajeshwari Sachdev in dance reality show, Nach Baliye 1 which had Saroj Khan as one of the judges on the panel. The duo performed on Kishore Kumar’s number Aake Seedhi Lagi, both were cross dressed and thoroughly entertained. This was during the third episode of the reality show, when the couple was presented with a token of appreciation from Saroj by giving them Rs. 101 for their performance.   

Besides Varun, Naagin 4 diva Rashami Desai too remembering the late choreographer shared a caricatured image of Saroj Khan smiling, seen in graceful dance move. She wrote in the caption, “She was the “Mother of choreography in india" Our Guru ji! Red heart Sad sad May her soul rest in peace”



The ace choreographer was laid to rest at Muslim cemetery in Malad, Mumbai at 7am confirmed her daughter to news agency, PTI. She confirmed the prayer meet to be held after three days as well.
